Art Techniques – Activity Three

Here is an example of a mind-mapping technique. I find this a very good way to organize artistic projects. It takes the place of a list and becomes more visual.
- start on a sheet of paper in any place you like with a circle. In the circle write your main idea or theme.
- from that circle draw lines or arrows to new ideas for the project or what a project could mean.
- keep drawing boxes and lines or other shapes you like, until your page will start to resemble a ‘family tree’ of sorts.
- try using colored pencils and metallic pens or markers
This is the collage I was mindmapping to be used as another project.
